soft organizer comparison

Hi,
I'm using Soft Organizer Pro (with tracking) for about 10 years and I find it more and more slow or complicated (it uses folders sometimes to store info). But the good thing is that it does not delete vital files, so nothing crashed on the pc after using it regularly. And I've found it quite thorough. I wonder how it compares with uninstalr. The pro version can be found in giveaways regularly. But now I plan maybe to move from it to Uninstalr. What I'm affraid of is stability, deletion of vital files etc. I'm really interested to know the difference about left overs also. Thank you for your comments, and thank you for your work!!!

Sorry about the delay, there was a problem with the website yesterday that took a lot of my time to fix.

I was not aware of this software before. At the first glance, it seems pretty interesting. The batch uninstallation is very basic without any kind of automation. User needs to click through every uninstaller, that is not very impressive.

I re-ran the last uninstaller testing process from https://uninstalr.com/blog/uninstaller-benchmark-what-is-the-best-uninstaller-for-windows/ with this software, and the result is that 128 leftovers remained after the uninstallation. That is one of the worst results, so overall, not very impressive.

I have to tell, in my honesty, that I was a bit affraid of your uninstalr software. Some on the internet commented about having to reinstall windows, BSOD, etc. after using uninstalr. it's something I - and many others - can't afford. I'm going to wait for 2.7 version I think and start using it/test it. Some on internet say uninstallers are not good idea, but I think it is, using windows for almost 30 years now. I saw so many times how traces can interfere/bother with the system etc. Before Soft Organizer (pro version, free is not good enough), I tried other uninstallers, even Revo (so praised Revo by many, many!), and was not really convinced. Hibit seemed better, now you say leftovers are too many. It's difficult to figure out all of this. Some say your software - no offense, we're talking only - is too agressive and can break things. I'm a bit... lost. Thank you for your previous kind answer.

Uninstalr is a powerful tool. Powerful tools can be dangerous.

For example, if Soft Organizer or Revo are plastic toy hammers for children, they are very safe. It's very difficult to hurt yourself with a toy. Uninstalr on the other hand is a real hammer. You can really hurt yourself with it, if you don't know how to use it. If you know how to use it, you can use a hammer to build a house. Or a ship.

I made some mistakes with the earlier Uninstalr versions, such as not having enough clear warning about "are you really sure you want to do this" sort of things. I have been adding more such warnings with every version.
