French Translation error, making it un-understandable

In the main dialog of WinFindr, we select (with check boxes) what we search for, among Folders, Files, Registry keys and Registry entries

Unfortunately, in french version of GUI, we have to select among "Dossies, Des dossiers, Clés de registre, Entrées de registre".... which makes no sense for the second choice. At least in this particular place (and probably everywhere), "Files" in english has to be translated as "Fichiers" in french (and surely not "Des dossiers"....)

I've downloaded the portable Winfindr first, next I've installed free version of jv16tools and Winfindr.
There's the same translation issue in both versions.
Installed version of Winfindr seems to be a portable version too and I can't find the translation file to correct it.
In the TranslationHelper.zip package , I found :

Curiously, I've modified the French.txt file in C:\Program Files (x86)\jv16 PowerTools\Translations and there is no modification in the UI.
Reinstall conserving the modified file don't solve the issue too.
If you have some explaination on how to test translation modification, it will help me to continue.

We use automated translations, since we don't speak French. If you want to fix the translation errors, you can download this file: https://jv16powertools.com/downloads/TranslationHelper.zip - Open the French translation file, make the corrections and send the updated version to me via email: jouni@greatsoftwarecompany.com and I will include the improved version to the next released version of the software.

Hi,

I'm sad, because I just downloaded the rev 1.9... and french translation fixes I sent you last Christmas.... have NOT been taken into account in this new version.... (at least in portable version. I don't know for "setup" version)

Is there a way for me to update at least the exe I'm running on my laptop ?

I'm very sorry! I don't know what happened, I thought I had updated it with the file you sent.

I have now made the updates to the translation file and they will be applied to the next released update. We are planning to do an updated version of WinFindr soon anyway, so you shouldn't need to wait for too long. I'm afraid there is no way for you to apply the updates yourself.
