I wrote this before but seems to be a communication barrier here.
When running the portable version the save settings path is C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\Uninstalr
When running the installed version the save settings path is SUPPOSED to be C:\Program Files (x86)\Uninstalr but instead is USING C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\Uninstalr
The program is aware as at the bottom of the settings windows you show the save path and the installed version path is correct it just doesn't save it there.
Everything is better with pictures correct, So here ya go. Portable path first, Installed path second, Portable directory third, Installed directory fourth.
If you look you will see the installed version settings are being saved in the portable save settings path.
