AI Policy

We build our products on craftsmanship and with over 20 years of expertise. While development tools evolve, software quality still demands human judgment and oversight.

That being said, valuing human skill does not mean ignoring helpful tooling. Much like compilers and IDEs, AI tools can assist routine work when used deliberately. We use AI in very specific ways:

Using an assistive tool does not dilute accountability. Every line of code, architectural design, and customer-facing document published by Great Software Company is reviewed, understood, and owned by our team. The machines provide suggestions; our people make the final calls.

We are classicists. We believe in craftsmanship and human skill. We believe that the best way to create great software is through human ingenuity, creativity, skill, and experience.

However, being a classicist does not mean being a luddite. We use AI tools but only as tools, not as replacements for human skill.

Using a quill pen to write a book is not inherently better than using a keyboard to write one. A keyboard is a tool, not the author. Similarly, for us, AI is also just a tool.

We do not use any user data or user-provided content to train any AI models or AI systems, nor do we share such data with any third parties for AI model or AI system training purposes.
